Reverted or Not?
Did you revert to Islam, or were you born muslim? In case you are not familiar with the term "revert to Islam" or "reverted Muslim", here is the definition. We are all born into this life by the will of Allah s.w.t. as Muslim. When we are raised under the religious belief of our parents other than Islam, such as Hinduism, Christian, e.t.c., and then later in life find Islam and take the shahada that "God is one and Muhammad s.a.w. is his messenger", we "come back to" or "revert" to the religion of Islam in which we were born into in the first place. So in essence, those who follow a belief other than Islam and who find it later in life have not converted to islam, but have reverted to Islam.
