We received an urgent posting in our HijaBlog by a sister who is currently experiencing resistance at home for wearing hijab. Here is her message: ------------------------------- fa on December 31, 2008 at 02:14 PM said:
i feel so bad right now. im just crying i cant help it. i told my mother that i was wearing hijab. she told me to stop it. that because of my age, its not necessary, that i wait until i get married. i told her i wanted to do it now, that its written in the quran that women have to cover themselves when going out, she said no. i dont know what to do --------------------------------------
Your support would really be appreciated if you can reply to this sister in our blog as she is a regular visitor elhamdulilah.
Any advice on what she should say to her mother?
