Are you Warm or Cool?
Asalamu alaikum!
Have you heard the terms "Warm skin tone" and "Cool skin
tone"? We're gonna give you a nifty tip on how to figure
out which one you are, and applying what you've learnt to
choosing which color hijab would likely suit you best, no
matter what pattern.
To find out which skin tone you are, look at the inside
part of your wrist, and look for your veins. If your veins
are green, then you can wear warm colors beautifully. If
your veins are blue then you can wear cool colors
beautifully.
How can we apply this to hijab?
Cool colors are: Pinks, Blues, Reds, Limes, Lavenders,
Yellows, cyan, white - and other common pastel tones
Warm colors are: Corals, Peachy tones, Apricot, Olives,
Browns, Rusts, Plums and Burgundy, beige - Earth tones
Colors that go with everyone: Black/Navy
Generally you can wear any color as long as the majority
color is a color that compliments you!
So when you're shopping use this as a guide when you're
trying a new pattern or even the bolder pinstripe!
