Who Should See You in Hijab?
Asalamu alaikum sisters,
We thank you all for your support and for taking part in
becoming a member of this newsletter.
For those of you who are new to wearing hijab here is
clarification on which family members you can wear your
hijab in front of:
-Father
-Grandfather
-Brothers
-Sons
-Uncles
-Nephews
The reason is because, all but your sons and nephews are
you maharams - the ones who are your guardian and watch
over you - It is surely better that a Maharam be a Muslim
so that you can be guided in the right direction - Use your
discretion
Types of family members to wear your hijab in front of:
-Male Cousins
-Males over the age of 7 outside of family relations
It is normal that sisters be confused about where to wear a
hijab, and when they can take it off. Inshallah as a
