Ramadan is a gift to us from Allah s.w.t. which makes it
the ultimate and best month of the year. It is the month
where the heavens open up and our prayers and worship are
accepted. For those of you who are thinking of wearing
hijab and need that extra push, Ramadan is an excellent
opportunity to educate oneself about hijab and what it
truly means. And when you make your little prayers (du3a),
and you are driving in your car, walking in the mall,
sitting with your daughters, ask Allah s.w.t. to give you
the strength to wear hijab.

[Hijab Tip of the Month]: If you are not confident on how
to pronounce the Islamic Greeting (Asa-lamu-Alay-comb or
Wa-alay-comb-salam), let the sister know. Just be yourself
and tell them that you are unsure of how to pronounce it
and that you'd like to learn. The sister will likely smile
or offer to teach you right on the spot;) I was talking to
this sister once and i said "salamalikum" to say good-bye
and end the conversation. She responded in a cute honest
way and said "I'm not sure of how to pronounce it, but I'm
going to try..and she did quite well" The next time she
called, she was saying it like she'd been saying it for 10
years, heheh. Never be afraid to try.
