Job Seeking & Hijab
Asalamu alaikum sisters,
Thinking of looking for a new job? Or, thinking of starting
to get out there in the work force focusing on a subject
you've studied or mastered in College or University?
Being in this job seeking situation it becomes easier for
some to psych oneself into thinking that they will face a
higher challenge in landing the job and wearing hijab.
Here are some tips to help you land that job along with
making lots of du3a:
1. Make sure that you are fully prepared for the interview.
Have confidence in how your expertise and intelligence is
fit for the job and have examples ready to show for.
2. Arrive at most 10 minutes before your interview
3. Jilbab-it, this look is modern, modest & conservative.
Interviewers will expect a conservative appearance.
4. Don't be afraid to make rapport
5. A sense of humor will cut the tension
