Ramadan Mubarak! Now's your chance!
Asalamu alaikum sisters,
Ramadan and hijab go hand in hand. Use this wonderful
celebration of Islam to make your final step in wearing
hijab inshallah;)
I could remember 2 Ramadan's ago in November 2003, thinking
about finally wearing the hijab. I remember how I was told
by a non-muslim who I am certain didn't even know that much
about Islam, said "she's not a real Muslim" based on how I
dressed. I dressed in a modest fashion with layered
clothing and also talking to other girls at work about how
I'm muslim wasn't enough. Mashallah, it is clear how when
non-Muslims think of a woman in Islam, they envision her
wearing hijab:) Mashallah when they approach you or pass by
you, you'll be surprised at the respect you'll get for it;)
Finally the day of Ramadan is approaching and now is the
time to reflect and do ones best to gain Allah s.w.t.
mercy. Allah s.w.t. is listening to our du3a and prayers
inshallah and this is the month where you can gain his
pardon inshallah. Use this month as your strongest tool to
build your iman to gain the strength to wear hijab. When
you make you're du3a make a sincere request to gain
strength in wearing hijab inshallah.
