Did you find a hijab that you love but wish it could be a shayla? Poof! I can make that happen for you inshallah! Here's how you do it:
1. Make sure that your hijab is either chiffon or georgette, or a has a non-slippery texture
2. Fold your square hijab so that it turns into a rectangle. Now that you have folded your hijab in this shape..one side will now be longer than the other, just as a rectangle is
3. Make sure the shortest side of the rectangle is at least 23 inches in width
4. Equip yourself with a lace underscarf or cotton, to keep your "Shaylab" in place;)hehe
5. Begin to place your head on 15 percent of the "shaylab's" width, so that it is just enough for you to pin it under your chin. This way the material will hang on one side, and almost nothing on the other side.
6. Begin to wrap your "shaylab" as if it is a shayla, first under your chin, over your ear, to the top back of your head, and to almost on one side at the back of your head.
7. Voila! Now you have your favorite hijab as a shayla! Enjoy!
