Hijab Tip #10
Asalamu Alaikum sisters,
When a sister makes the decision to wear hijab, she must
arm herself with confidence. Doing ones best to pray on
time, and stop deliberate avoidable delays, is one tool
that can give you the confidence you need in wearing hijab
and strengthen your iman and conviction that "Hijab is
best".
Whether you've just begun to wear hijab, or are thinking of
wearing it, reflect on the following questions, and write
your answers down on a piece of paper:
1. What is the purpose of wearing hijab?
2. How can it protect you and give you self-respect at
work, school or in the general public?
3. Wearing hijab is all about promoting modesty. What does
it mean to be modest in what you wear and how you behave?
4. Have you encountered unfortunate situations from the
opposite gender while not wearing hijab? What were they?
How did it make you feel? and On a scale from 1-10, how
annoyed are you by it?

will encourage the confidence you seek to make that final
