HOW TO FOLD A SQUARE HIJAB
STEP 1: The hijab on
your head with one side longer than
the other placing on your head
approximately 30% of the hijab's or
shayla's width (as seen in the
picture where the dotted line is
located. For smaller hijabs, fold
your hijab in the way shown in the
picture below to ensure it covers
sufficiently and follow through to
step one. You can use this technique
with larger hijabs to achieve a
longer length hijab

STEP 2: Pin the hijab under your chin
STEP 3: Bring the longer side over to your other shoulder
|
STEP 4: Then bring the longer side up across your ear, or higher on your ear..whatever you choose, and pin it at the top back of your head. For square hijab, it ends here because...there's no more lenth to deal with unless your hijab is larger..then you can continue through to step 5. Those of you who love shawls, like myself:) continue to step 5 with me! |
STEP 6: or...don't pin it at the side..hold your finger there..and keep wrapping it and pin it on your chin with an oval pin this side..the straight pin may hit your jugular vein if you put it here...no we don't want that now do we:)))) heheh
STEP 7: or use straight pin to secure hijab there or at upper back of the head
