ABAYA/JELBAB - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Jilbab: Always conservative, with collar(Lapells), a-line cut, and comes as a one piece, or 2 piece with pants or dress underneath it. It is something you would wear to work, school, do your errands. Or depending on the detailing, go for an outting with friends and family. Even with the detailing, it would still maintain a concervative look. And one thing they all have is buttons to open and close the garment on the front; 2 of them or from top to bottom. They come in many materials polyester, jeans, denim, corderoy(i.e. our main page menu: http://www.thecanadianmuslim.ca - Just above the abaya/jilbabs button, on the left is a black fancy abaya, and on the right is a jeans material jilbab. As you can see they both look totally different)
Abaya: Always more feminine looking, similar to a dress. Most come with shoulder pads and never any buttons on the front. They are almost always made of georgette and double layered. They are easy to wear because you slip them over your head. Most of them come with a matching scarf. PAYMENT PROBLEMS - "Invalid" error in Paypal Checkout
If you experience problems in the paypal credit card checkout where the browser alerts you that "your information is invalid"; try tweaking your address or name. For example, with your name you can exclude your middle initial. And with the address you can put the street number and name on the first address line, and the word "Apartment" and then # the number on the second address line (if you live in an apartment or unit). If not, leave the second address line blank. When filling out your address, please do not put the street number, street name, and address all in the same line as you may get an error. If your city name includes -"hyphens", exclude the hypens and just use a "space" to replace the hyphen. Inshallah this will solve most problems that may arrive inshallah. Happy Shopping!

After clicking the ORANGE "Pay now" Paypal button, you will be transfered to a secure connection on the paypal website. Click the option that says "you do not have a paypal account", and you will only be asked for your billing information to complete your transaction. This is for quality assurance purposes to ensure your package is sent to the correct desired location.

CURRENCY - Why are prices listed in US Dollars?
This reason is mainly to encourage ease of purchase for the customer as the majority of e-commerce sites offer items in US Currency. The other main reason is because our shopping cart can only default to US currency, and when you make a payment using your credit card through Paypal.com secure server, they default to US Currency as well. This also makes comparision shopping easier for the customer as well.

What you see is what you get if you reside in a country other than Canada:) Your total just includes the added cost of your items and the shipping cost and thats it! No Fee will be charged to your credit card if you pay using PayPal. As for Canadian orders, HST Tax applies to provinces NB, NL and NS. PST only applies to the province of Ontario.
